1997 large peach "...on my mind" passenger  base: This design began in 1997 with a 1998 expiration, the "98" being screened into the stickerwell.  This plate marked the first time Georgia used staggered registration with Georgia being the last state in the country to do so.  Stickers were used for renewals.  The plate number format began with an all numeric "00000", but later used "0000A" to handle the overflow.  The county of residence appears at the bottom of the plate in the form of a sticker.

2005 "www.GEORGIA.gov" BASE:  Issued beginning in 2004 (screened "05" in right stickerwell), along the top is the state's website address to promote tourism in Georgia.  Stickers were used for renewals.  I've seen a number of plate number formats, all beginning with "DP", including "DP00AA", "DP0A00", and "DP0AAA".  The county of residence appears at the bottom of the plate in the form of a sticker.
