1991 "Hoosier Hospitality" base:  This design was introduced in 1991 (1992 expiration).  To the left of the letter in the plate number is the county code and the year sticker has to have the same county code.

1998 "The Crossroads of America" base:  This design was introduced in 1998 (screened "99" expiration).  In the background of the design is the state symbol of the state map with a torch and 19 stars around it, the 19 stars signifying that Indiana was the 19th state to enter the union.  This symbol is also found on the state flag.  To the left of the letter in the plate number is the county code.  The year sticker has the plate number imprinted on it.

2003 farm scene base:  This design was introduced in 2003 (screened "04" expiration).  The background of the design is a farm scene and was produced in flat style from the outset.  There are two sizes of plate numbers, beginning with large and ending with small.  To the left of the letter in the plate number is the county code.  The year sticker has the plate number imprinted on it.
