NON-HIGHWAY Non-highway: This class is for "non-highway" trailers, or manufactured homes, (also known as mobile homes). The 1975 base was renewed with stickers that had "MBL HM" up the left side. The sticker serial number had the two-letter county code prefix (see Kansas county codes page). In at least with the "83" sticker, the sticker had "NON-HY" on the sticker instead. I don't know when this changed. 1972 (reflective white/black) Edwards County low# m $5.00 "ED 36" (10701)
1983 sunflower base: The following design began in 1983 and ran concurrently with the 1981 base through 1987 ("88" expiration sticker). The stacked 2-letter prefix is the county code (see Kansas county codes page). To the right of the county code is a stacked "NON" and at the right of the plate is a stacked "HY". The year sticker will have "NON-HY" on it and the sticker serial number will begin with the same two-letter county code as the plate.
