Kansas

PASSENGER, "95" wheat base

Passenger:  Up to 1975, Kansas issued plates yearly.  Beginning with the embossed "76" plate, renewal stickers were issued yearly after a new multiyear base was issued, the first year of expiration being embossed or screened onto the plate in the stickerwell.  Because Kansas county codes the plates, and, at times, includes a month code, there are a number of possible varieties.  I have a very nice (and large) selection of varieties, including the county and month codes.  So that downloading a Kansas passenger page doesn't overload your computer, I have split them into the following bases, each being a link to my website page of that type:

Pre "76" base (yearly issues)

embossed "76" base

"81" wheat base

1983 sunflower base

"89" wheat base

"95" wheat base

"02" capitol base

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1994 wheat base:  The following design began in 1994 (screened "95" expiration in stickerwell) and features shafts of wheat in the center of the plate.  In the top left corner is a sticker with the two-letter county code (see county code page) and it comes in two different sizes.  The year sticker will have a stacked vertical "AUTO" on it.

1995 (blue/reflective multicolored) m $2.00 (for some reason, this group of mint plates have yellowed, but they are all mint)

1996 (blue/reflective multicolored) Saline County natural vg $3.00 (actual plate)

1999 (blue/reflective multicolored) Stevens County natural vg $3.00 (actual plate)
