LOCAL TRUCK

Local truck:  Local truck plates ("L") are issued to trucks restricted to a certain mileage of the locality the vehicle has been registered.  Trucks permitted to travel beyond these limits are called, appropriately, "beyond local" trucks and are indicated on the plates as "BL".
