RECREATIONAL VEHICLE DEALER
"98" base: This purple/white base had an embossed "98" in the bottom right corner inside the state outline and was renewed for 1999 and 2000 with stickers. The plate number format was "00 R/V 00-00". The plate number was the county code, followed by a stacked "R" over "V" for "recreational vehicle", and the dealership number in that county. After the dealer number, a centered dot separated it from the number of the plate for that dealer. For example, for dealer #1 in county #1, all their plates began with "1 R/V 1-". After the dot separator, the dealer's plates were number consecutively from #1 up. Vehicles that were covered by the dealership's insurance used plates with a "DEALER" sticker placed at the top of the plate. Vehicles not covered and used for demonstration purposes only had a "DEMO" sticker at the top instead. 2000 (purple/reflective white) Yellowstone County m $3.00 "3RV34-1" (13286)
