1964 gold/blue base:  This new base without the slogan continued the format of the first letter corresponding with the embossed month on the plate.  January through December were indicated as "A" through "M", respectively (excluding "I").

1974 blue/gold base:  Beginning in 1974, the state reversed the colors.  The first letter month code continued, using the same letters as the 1964 base above.
